Dr. Larry Smith at The Back and Neck Chiropractic Center offers a full range of chiropractic services to patients in London and throughout Laurel County. SOFT TISSUE INJURIES/PAIN REDUCTION. The Back and Neck Chiropractic Center is proud to announce that it now offers Photo Medicine, a cutting edge modality for reducing pain and repairing injured tissues. Photo Medicine is a low level cold laser which stimulates lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling. The laser stimulates the cells around the injury to increase the rate of repair. The laser also inhibits the pain receptors surrounding the site of the injury. Photo Medicine is especially effective for soft-tissue injuries of all types.
AUTO ACCIDENTS OR PERSONAL INJURY. Even a minor automobile accident can have major effects on your health. When one car collides with another, thousands of pounds of pressure are exerted on the neck and spine. Whiplash can occur at surprisingly slow speeds and is the result of the head and neck being thrown or "snapped" back and forth very quickly.
